  • What is Meowy Janes return policy?

    All sales are final unless damaged or defective within 14 days with valid receipt.

  • Do I need a medical card?

    Not at all! We are Adult use/Recreational so all you need to be is 21+ and have a valid ID. If you have a maine medical card, we offer a 10% discount on most products, with exceptions. Those under the age of 21 with a medical card, cannot legally purchase at recreational locations.

  • What kind of Identification do I need to enter Meowy Jane?

    All IDs must include: a clear photo, birth date, and expiration date. No photocopies accepted, even if they're scannable. Accepted IDs: US Driver’s License (including expired with renewal sticker), DMV-issued temporary paper license (with another photo ID for verification), Foreign or US Passport, any scannable government-issued photo ID.

  • Why are you cash only?

    MJ transactions are cash-only. An ATM is available on-site.

    The cannabis industry remains largely cash-based due to limited involvement from banking companies. While some dispensaries offer debit services, they essentially function as ATMs. Federal legalization is necessary for credit and touch payment methods to be utilized. Banking laws vary by state.

    All items, including non-cannabis products, must be treated similarly due to our unified sales approach under one roof.

  • May my child under 21 come in?

    Your child under 21 may come into our lobby area, but not into our main store area.

  • Do you have cats in the store?

    Sometimes! We will have one of our employees bring in their service cat Stella, and another bring in their dog Douglas.
    We often host kitten Adoption events through Animal Welfare Society based in Kennebunk, Maine about.

  • Can Furry Friends Come in?

    Absolutely! Just as long they are well behaved, leashed, and respectful to other folks in the store. Ask about treats that we keep behind the counter for your pup!

  • Can I consume publicly in Portland?
